The 3rd edition of the University of Luxembourg International Summer School (ULISS) will take place from 8 July to 26 July 2019. This year’s edition of ULISS provides language classes (French or German) in combination with an inter-disciplinary exploration of Europe and the European Union. Students will acquire not only a first-hand experience of several European phenomena, but also the analytical tools to better understand contemporary Europe. On-site visits will provide additional historical depth to the program and allow students to see the three capitals of the European Union.
The tuition fee is 1.500€. A restricted number of scholarships will be available, thanks to the support of the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The tuition fees include:
- accommodation during ULISS,
- field trips in Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany,
- cultural activities,
- classroom materials.
Students will have to finance the cost of their travel to Luxembourg, their international insurance, visa and meals.
Application procedure
Students must be nominated by their home university via email to uliss@uni.lu by April 15. The nomination should include the following information:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Study programme at the home university
