Facing a lack of drinking water, the Swedish municipality of Mörbylånga has invested in a pioneering water treatment plant. The plant's ability to treat different streams of water, including pre-treated industrial water, is made possibly by technology provided by Luxembourg cleantech innovator APATEQ.
As of 10 July 2019, Luxembourg is home to one of the world's largest data lakes for space data analytics. Spire Global, one of the world's largest space-to-cloud analytics companies, launches its open source data lake that is accessible free of charge to all start-ups, research institutes and public agencies in Luxembourg. The initiative is co-funded by the Luxembourg Space Agency.
