Riccardo Lamanna has been appointed country head of State Street in Luxembourg. Riccardo is responsible for developing business, stewarding client engagement, developing talent, and building the company’s brand and market network, in addition to maintaining strong and proactive regulatory relationships of State Street Bank International GmbH, Luxembourg.
I’m happy and honoured to lead State Street business in Luxembourg, the place where many of our clients have decided to run large business operations and manufacture investment solutions to be distributed across many different jurisdictions in Europe and in other regions.
Prior to his current role, Riccardo was the head of Alpha Business Development for EMEA. Previously, Riccardo covered the country manager role in Italy and The Netherlands. Moreover, Riccardo served as CEO of State Street Bank Italy and member of the Board of Directors of State Street Bank Luxembourg and is a member of the Board of State Street Global Exchange GmbH.
I look forward to further strengthening State Street’s leadership position as a provider of investors services in Luxembourg thanks to its products span, quality of service and expertise.
Riccardo started his career at JP Morgan in 1991, to work in operations supporting the proprietary activity of the bank as well as custody and clearing services for third-party clients, with experience in London, Paris and Milan. He then moved to Banca IMI, the investment bank of Sanpaolo IMI, where he served as head of Back Office and Middle Office functions.
